After being delayed by the Rice Canyon Fire, the much anticipated Combined Young Men/Young Women Rock Climbing and Rapelling activity was held on November 3rd. The day was perfect; warm but not too hot with a nice seabreeze to cool us off.
The youth rapelled down a 60-70 foot cliff and then climbed/bouldered up a small slope. It was a challenging activity but fun for all.
Bryce and I are certified BSA Rock Climbing Instructors and took every safety precaution required by the scouts. All who participated did so with the consent of their parents, either signed or verbal if parents were present at the activity.
Our next activity is Christmas tree delivery!
